Our Mission

At AIMwell, our mission is to empower individuals to conquer pain and enhance overall well-being through personalized, holistic physical therapy and wellness coaching. Delivered virtually and in-home, we focus on root cause rehab and use neuromuscular physiology to improve physical function.

Our AIM—Autonomy, Integrated Wellness, and Meaningful Outcomes—guides us in teaching you to become your own coach, using simple, science-based lifestyle modifications to boost metabolic health and physical capabilities, ensuring you stay pain-free and live stronger, longer. We provide long-term natural solutions without gimmicks or symptom-based treatments, transforming lives one step at a time.

  • Our root-cause rehab approach recognizes the intricate interconnectedness of the human body and starts with a comprehensive full-body movement analysis to identify specific dysfunctions. Using the principles of neuromuscular physiology, we systematically assess and address individual muscle imbalances, restoring proper neuromuscular efficiency. This leads to improved active range of motion and a significant reduction in pain.

We understand that pain is often referred, and the location of your discomfort may not be where the true problem lies. Rather than relying on generic treatments, such as standard exercises and passive therapies, we evaluate your entire body through a movement screen. This allows us to rule out neuromuscular inhibition in muscles surrounding the joints below and above the site of pain, ensuring we address the root cause.

With this detailed approach, we prescribe exercises tailored specifically to your individual needs. You receive a customized plan based on what we find in your assessment, giving you the exact prescription needed to move better and conquer pain, while promoting long-term wellness and mobility.

  • At AIMwell, we believe in empowering you to take full control of your health and wellness. Our mission is not just to treat your pain or dysfunction, but to teach you how to manage and optimize your health independently. We provide the tools, education, and personalized coaching necessary to help you become your own coach. By understanding your body and its needs, you can make informed decisions about your wellness, leading to long-term success and sustained health improvements.

We operate with a home-based system because we firmly believe that health starts at home. The environment where you live, move, and rest has a profound impact on your well-being. By working with you in your home, we can assess your everyday surroundings and help you create sustainable habits within the context of your life. From home-based exercises to integrating wellness practices into your daily routine, we ensure that you can easily apply what you learn. Our approach fosters autonomy, giving you the confidence and knowledge to maintain your health, prevent future issues, and live stronger, longer—on your own terms.

  • At AIMwell, we understand that true healing goes beyond just rehab and exercise. Our integrated wellness approach recognizes the importance of treating the whole body by incorporating natural, science-backed practices into your everyday life. We emphasize the vital role of natural light, clean air and water, grounding, daily movement, functional exercise, and ancestral nutrition in helping the body heal and preventing disease and dysfunction.

We believe that healing requires more than isolated treatments—it involves a lifestyle that supports your body’s natural rhythms and biological needs. Natural light regulates your circadian rhythms and energy levels, while clean air and water help detoxify and reduce inflammation. Grounding reconnects you with the earth, reducing stress and restoring balance, and daily movement and exercise strengthen your body’s resilience. Ancestral nutrition fuels your body with nutrient-dense foods that reduce inflammation and optimizes health and performance.

What sets our approach apart is the simple, traditional wisdom and science-backed guidance we provide to help you seamlessly incorporate these practices into your daily routine. Our goal is to make these habits easy to adopt so you can take full control of your own wellness, integrating these principles in a way that fits your life. This allows you to build a sustainable, proactive approach to health, empowering your body to heal naturally and helping you maintain long-term wellness to live stronger, longer.

  • At AIMwell, our purpose is to help you achieve meaningful, real-world outcomes that enhance your quality of life. Whether it’s regaining the ability to hike, play with your kids, improve your energy levels, or boost productivity at work, we focus on goals that truly matter to you. We believe that success in your health journey should be measured by how well you can engage in the activities you love—not by arbitrary metrics like “passive range of motion” or “graded muscle testing” designed to meet insurance company requirements.

Traditional healthcare often gets bogged down in proving worth to insurance companies through standardized measurements that don't reflect your personal goals. At AIMwell, we take a different approach. Our focus is entirely on outcomes that improve your daily life and bring you closer to the things that matter most. We measure success by your ability to move freely, live without pain, and engage fully in your passions, not by numbers on a chart.

We are committed to supporting you in achieving lasting, meaningful results—because your health journey is about much more than hitting insurance metrics. It’s about thriving in all areas of life.

Meet Our Staff

Colton Boyd

Founder | PT, DPT, One80

Colton received a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology from the University of Florida and a doctorate in physical therapy from the Rocky Mountain University in Provo. Before becoming a physical therapist, he worked as a strength coach and personal trainer—both experiences shaped his functional approach to rehabilitation.

Colton set out to become a physical therapist with the goal of helping people heal naturally through movement and lifestyle changes. During his education and early career, he recognized that traditional physical therapy often focuses on alleviating symptoms rather than addressing the root causes of movement dysfunction. Determined to correct this approach, he founded AIMwell to help individuals restore function and learn the correct movement patterns for lasting health.
